Terms of use

The short agreement.

These terms cover the Stonegrove website, community board, and Minecraft server. By using them, you agree to the rules and the privacy policy.

Acceptance

You may use Stonegrove only if you can enter into a binding agreement in your country and agree to these terms, the server rules, and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts and invitations

Community accounts are personal. Keep your password private and do not share sessions. Invitations are issued to a named player and may not be sold, published, or transferred without a steward's agreement. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks the rules.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access another player's account, bypass access controls, scrape private areas, or use the service for unlawful activity. Do not upload malware, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights. The server rules describe the in-game expectations in more detail.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, screenshots, and builds you create. By publishing on the board, you grant Stonegrove a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and moderate that content for the operation of the community. We may remove content that breaks the rules or the law.

Availability and changes

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may change features, update the game version, schedule maintenance, or suspend access for safety or capacity reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent preservation of any build.

Virtual items

Blocks, items, ranks, and currency in the world have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for money. Trades for real money are not permitted. Nothing in the service creates a property right in a game object.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be removed. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost builds, or interruptions, except where liability cannot be excluded. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.

Third-party services and trademarks

The service may link to third-party sites or use hosting providers. Their terms apply to their services. Stonegrove is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page and material changes are announced on the board. Questions go to the contact page.
